JOB DESCRIPTION

• Set up and adjust flexographic printing presses for each print job based on job specifications.
• Monitor and adjust printing press settings such as ink density, speed, and pressure to ensure high-quality output.
• Throughout production, make routine checks for registration, color accuracy, and print quality.
• Investigate and fix any printing press-related difficulties, such as paper jams, inconsistent ink, or alignment concerns.
• To avoid downtime and guarantee peak performance, give the press regular maintenance and cleaning.
• To guarantee a secure workplace and satisfy client expectations, follow safety and quality control protocols.
• Collaborate closely with the production and quality control teams to resolve problems and increase process effectiveness.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification in printing or a related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator or in a similar printing role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Familiarity with various substrates, inks, and coating processes used in flexographic printing.
• Strong attention to detail, with an ability to detect and address print defects.
• Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to make adjustments quickly to maintain production schedules.
• Ability to work with high-volume printing equipment while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
