JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure punctual and efficient delivery and collection to and from the designated places on time.
- Ensure that all deliveries are supplied as per laid down procedures.
- Provide reports on all collections, deliveries and fuel usage.
- Help and direct employees as they load and unload goods.
- Make sure you always drive safely and in accordance with UAE traffic laws.
- Help with vehicle maintenance inspections and ensure that any mechanical issues are reported so that appropriate action can be done.
- Implement the Quality Policy and Quality System set up in compliance with the international ISO 9001: 2000 standards, and carry out all duties in compliance with departmental work processes while taking
- into account the EKFC Quality Policy.
- Observe the company’s policy for occupational health and safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary school or equivalent qualification.
- Valid UAE Driving License with License No 3, Light Vehicle with Gear (Manual).
- Previous experience of minimum 24 months as a Light Duty Driver in the UAE
- Experience driving in an Airport, Container Port or Logistics center is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance.
- Communication skills in English.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate a team based approach including ability to positively manage conflict.
- Deliver well structured written/ spoken communication, with impact and energy.
