JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure the timely billing of accounts and adherence to the hotel’s credit policy
- Maintains a filing system for account receivable records
- Balance daily transfer to city ledger and post, edit and update to accounts receivable system
- Handle correspondence and queries regarding city ledger accounts
- Reviews city ledger daily for correct postings of charges and take corrective action where necessary
- Create and enter the journals needed to move money across debtor accounts.
- Communicate with visitors and the proper staff (reservation sales agent or FO cashier) to make sure customized account arrangements meet the needs of the visitors.
- To guarantee a timely and correct delivery of goods and services, keep lines of communication open with outside businesses.
- Collaborates, plans, and interacts with visitors and other departments on issues pertaining to credit issuance, accounts that need to be followed up on, and helping with credit needs.
- Attend every meeting, whether internal or external, to prevent charging inconsistencies in the future.
- Every call should have a note added to the collection record sheet.
- May help with additional tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification/equivalent in Accounting, Finance
- 1-2 years of experience in hotel accounting or a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred.
- Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills.

- A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
