JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provides technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of project activities.
- Ensures that the Project is technically sound and consistent with client’s requirements and priorities.
- Administers the contract from a technical and commercial standpoint.
- Interacts with clients, interprets their needs and requirements, and representing them to the Head of Projects for implementation in the field.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers and foster their development.
- Plans, plans, organizes, and keeps an eye on the projects that are allocated to them.
- Establishes project criteria and keeps an eye on activity.
- During weekly stand-up calls and monthly review meetings, accurately update the Head of Operations on the status of the project.
- Completing quality control activities on plans, budgets, timelines, and reports on the progress of the project.
- Works together with internal departments of engineering, commissioning, and solution creation (design) to establish more effective project management techniques and raise project profitability.
- Communicate with subcontractors to keep an eye on and manage their work.
- Create RFPs to assign subcontractors.
- Execute and evaluate engineering assignments. Take the required corrective action.
- Create specs based on the project’s requirements.
- Put frameworks in place to gauge the project’s data collecting and metrics.
REQUIREMENTS
· A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
· 20-25 years of experience in relevant field.
· Strong experience in both MEP engineering and related BMS controls
· Being well versed in ASHRAE Codes and guidelines is a mandatory requirement
· Experience in UAE is a mandatory requirement.
· Certified PMP from PMI or IPMA-C is mandatory requirement.
· Driving License is a must.
· Excellent computer literacy.
· The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
