JOB DESCRIPTION
Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents by policies and procedures. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Could you complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified? Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Prior accounting & consulting experience in an audit or an accounting firm is mandatory in UAE (minimum of 2 years) with overall experience of a minimum of 8 years.
2. CA /CPA / ACCA / M Com Qualification is a must.
3. Prior experience of managing a team of 7 to 8 accounting & tax consultants.
4. Prior experience of managing relationships with 20 to 25 clients.
5. Experience in IFRS reporting and preparation of Financial Statements.
6. Assessing internal controls, performing risk assessments, and reviewing key risk areas.
7. Supporting the auditors with the relevant information required to complete the audit.
8. Working in a computerized environment with proficiency in Microsoft tools. Knowledge of Accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books, Zoho etc
9. Mandatory Experience in VAT return preparation and filing
10. Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
